Give thanks to the Lord for He is our everything,

 

He created us and loves us, regardless of the heartache we bring,

 

He sees us mess up and sees us fall,

 

It is in these times that we can hear His call,

 

He will speak to us in many different ways,

 

Maybe through a movie or a poet on any given day,

 

He will whisper in our ear, softening our heart,

 

Unwilling to lose us to the evils of each day's start,

 

Maybe a stranger will come by and give you a kind word,

 

Maybe you will feel God's love by watching a silly little bird,

 

Each time we feel true joy, it is from our Lord above,

 

Showing us Himself through is never ending love
